Amy McMaster, born and raised in San Diego, started dancing at the age of 3, primarily with Southern California Ballet. Training programs include BalletMet, Marin Dance Theatre, and Ballet West, and Utah Ballet, as well as being a two-time member of the Cecchetti USA team at the Cecchetti International Classical Ballet competition. Upon receiving a BFA in Ballet Performance from the University of Utah in 2019, Amy joined Michele Wiles’ BalletNext in New York City for the 2019 Spring and Summer seasons, and then returned to San Diego to dance with the California Ballet for the 2019/2020 season, before joining Golden State Ballet.
