Silken Kelly, Soloist

From Denver, CO, Silken Kelly started her journey in ballet at the Academy of Colorado Ballet, before moving on to train at the Houston Ballet Academy. Her dedication and talent earned her full scholarships to summer intensives at the School of American Ballet, Ballet West, and Houston Ballet. As a professional ballet dancer, Silken has graced the stages of prestigious companies such as Houston Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and Cleveland Ballet. Her artistry has extended far and wide, as she's been a guest performer with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Sweetbird Production's touring sensation "Rock the Ballet," and Eglevsky Ballet. Silken has also founded her own company, Contingent Ballet, that has had successful virtual performances, and has been part of a film festival for three consecutive years, creating and directing original dance films. But Silken's artistic versatility doesn't end with ballet. She has seamlessly transitioned into the world of acting, where she's garnered recognition for her work with a supporting role in a movie and a mini-series for TV.
