MAGDA O’NEILL

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, Golden State Ballet

Magda O’Neill supports talented and dedicated artists who share her mission to create joy. Whether managing the complex details, budgets, and dynamics of an arts organization, or stage managing her children's annual school talent show, Mrs. O’Neill’s unique blend of nurturing and confident leadership brings peace of mind and calm to those around her. She studied violin at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and at the University of Houston, and earned an MA in Arts Administration and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. Prior to joining Golden State Ballet, Polish-born Mrs. O’Neill supported Mainly Mozart as General Manager and served as the musician/administration liaison as Orchestra Personnel Manager for the San Diego Symphony. Mrs. O’Neill and her husband are delighted to raise their three children and new kitten in America’s Finest City.
