Cecilia Benoit, Apprentice
Cecilia was born and raised in Lake Charles where she received most of her dance training at the Lake Charles Dance Academy. Growing up, she attended prestigious summer programs at American Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet, Houston Ballet and Texas Ballet Theatre. She later studied at the University of Oklahoma’s School of Dance, earning bachelor’s degrees in Ballet Pedagogy and Public Relations.
After graduating in 2022, Cecilia danced as a company apprentice with City Ballet of San Diego from 2022–2024. While at CBSD, she performed in a variety of productions, including The Nutcracker, Romeo & Juliet, Carmina Burana, and George Balanchine’s Rubies, Serenade, and The Four Temperaments.
