Annaliesa Gowe, Apprentice
Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Annaliesa trained at Dance Conservatory of Charleston under Lindy Mandrajieff Fabyanic, performing works by George Balanchine including Stars and Stripes, Serenade, and Raymonda Variations. She attended summer programs with Miami City Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, The Washington School of Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, and The Chautauqua Institution.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Ballet and Arts Management from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. During her collegiate career, Annaliesa performed works by George Balanchine, Durante Verzola, and Sasha Janes, including featured roles in La Source, Serenade, Mouvement Joyeux, and The Nutcracker. In 2025, she joined Grand Rapids Ballet as an apprentice where she performed in In the Countenance of Kings by Justin Peck and Swan Lake by Artistic Director, James Sofranco. Annaliesa is very excited to join Golden State Ballet for the 2026/2027 season.
