Antonio Zamora, Apprentice

Antonio Zamora began his training at the California Arts Academy in Fresno, California. Alongside his ballet training, he was equally involved in his training as a musician, going on to pursue a degree in jazz trumpet studies on full scholarship at California State University of Sacramento. Antonio went on to receive further ballet training from Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's Academy, Cincinnati Ballet's Otto M. Budig Academy, and the Los Angeles Ballet Academy.

In 2021, Antonio joined City Ballet of San Diego as a studio company member and was promoted to apprentice in 2022. During his time there, he had the opportunity to perform in a wide variety of works such as Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet, An American in Paris, Carmina Burana, Coppelia, The Nutcracker, as well as George Balanchine's Serenade.

Antonio is thrilled to join Golden State Ballet as an apprentice for the 2025-2026 season.
