Golden State Ballet is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Intern to support the Company’s marketing and audience engagement efforts for the 2026 season. This hands-on internship offers practical experience in arts marketing, communications, and brand storytelling within a professional ballet organization, with the potential for consideration for roles in future seasons based on performance, availability, and organizational needs.
This position is ideal for high school or college students seeking academic credit or hands-on experience in marketing, design/communications, journalism, or the performing arts.
What You’ll Do
The Marketing & Communications Intern will assist with a variety of content design/creation and communications tasks, including:
Drafting copy for marketing emails, newsletters, and print materials
Assisting with press releases and media communications
Designing and scheduling social media content across platforms, including working with staff photographer and pulling heavily from available photo library.
Supporting content design/development for promotional and audience engagement initiatives, with emphasis on graphic design work.
Assisting with general marketing and communications support as needed.
